Named after the Amazon River due to a mistaken belief of its discovery in that region, Amazonite belongs to the feldspar mineral family. However, studies have shown that it does not naturally occur there and was confused with another mineral. Amazonite can be found in Brazil, Peru, China, Colorado and Virginia in the United States, Australia, and Madagascar.

It acquired this name when an Italian from Murano accidentally stumbled upon the stone. Aventurine comes in various colors, such as green, blue, peach, brown, and white. For the Celts, this stone symbolized spiritual knowledge. In lithotherapy, Aventurine is renowned for aiding self-discovery, absorbing negative energy, clarifying thoughts, and stimulating creativity. 

Blue Lace Agate

Several pieces from our Luna collection feature Blue Lace Agate, which is one of our favorite types of Agate. We love its gentle colour and delicate lace-like patterns.
